I am from Beirut, Lebanon, and started writing songs, quite accidentally, after accepting to perform originals at the opening of an art exhibition in Beirut.

In December 2008, I released my first EP entitled Min Aafesh el Beit (Arabic for “household furniture”), a collaboration with Fadi Tabbal from Tunefork Recording Studios. Later in 2011, I released my second EP, Hal Bent Aabalha Tghanni (this girl feels like singing), a 5-song CD that began in my room as a series of experiments in home recording.

After starting to take shape during my latest residency in South Korea (September-November 2013), Njoum (Stars) has seen the light in September 2014.
